DAY FIVE: A day off the cliffs. Spent a couple hours on the dirt jumps at Anonymous Park in Moab, UT. Didn't take long for Coen to ramp up to the big line and Madison even got some runs in. The pictures and videos speak for themselves. Coen quickly mastered the park.... Coen on a jump line at "Anonymous"
DAY FOUR: Our good buddy Brody Fox had a special guest join us and lead us on yet another amazing and epic ride. Alan Van Winkle (Brody's coach with "Day Trippers"), from Aspen, Colorado, guided me, Madison, Coen and Brody through the cliffs and ridges of a canyon ride that was nothing less than spectacular and very challenging. The terrain in Moab, just doesn't let up as much super fun as it is super technical. We drove up into the canyon, then dropped in to the river and ba
DAY THREE: Needed to take it easy today following two straigh 5-6 hour riding days. So we took off and spent an hour tearing through the @SlickRock practice loop in Moab. Ok, so we sprinted straight uphill on sandpaper hills, then cruised down, then back up, then back down...and so on. Truly amazing and unreal landscape, but the practice loop was plenty. Not sure we really wanted to do 15 miles worth. Coen and his colorado buddy, Brodie Fox, decided they would do a timed lap
DAY TWO: Holy WOW! What an amazing day! Our second day was certainly a long one (six hours). We started out with a one mile climb uphill. Madison and Coen both took their downhill #KonaOperatorbikes out for a spin. Early going they were cursing that decision...but were rewarded later. The idea was a ton of fun downhills..and there was definitely that. But...there were a lot of long, hard rocky climbs as well. An incredible variety. Definitely a solid black diamond day. We sta
On day one, @Moab, Utah, lived up to the hype. What an amazing place! The landscape and breathtaking views are really incomparable. The MTB riding is something else. Our Extreme Speed DH crew got their early season share of miles and miles (almost 35 miles to be exact) and hours and hours (make that 5 hours) of pedalling - climbing, flats and some awesome downhill runs. The rocks, red sand and slickrock terrain of @Magnificent7 were a blast. The warm weather and distinct lack
Today, the kids got some gear from our partners and sponsors with more to come. Extreme Speed Gravity Team will certainly be easy to spot in the trees, on the dirt, from the sky, from the sea...! We'll be adding our sponsor logos when we are back from Moab. Jerseys, pants and protective gear from #TLD #TroyLeeDesigns and #BowCycle. Bikes, of course, #KONA. There was other awesome stuff in our order from NRG and Lambert, including lube, cleaner and degreaser from #PEDROS, and
We're happy to announce that the Extreme Speed Gravity Team has established a 2017 race season partnership with @ZEPRacing. Coen will be training and racing as a full time member of the ZEP Racing team and Rhys Ellis, while Madison will hang with the team race weekends during the BC Cup. We're working on some girl power training and coaching for Madison. Just click on the image to see the great members of the ZEP team. https://www.instagram.com/p/BRY5PPZBZXM/ The team has bee
Sooo cool! Madison's bike came in and the kids put it together today. With the help of "Big Ben" at @BowCycle, Madison and Coen assembled Maddy's brand new 2017 Kona Operator DL 27.5 today. This is an amazing machine just waiting to get totally plastered in dirt! This is Madison's first ever brand new downhill bike. What a thrill. Thanks to #konabikeworld and #bowcycyle for this. John Franzky at Bow Cycle and Dik Cox and Kona...you're so obviously the "bomb". Madison is rea
